You’re a performer at Ye Merrie King James Renaissance Faire, determined to entertain the crowds better than everyone else, so you can keep your job. There’s only one catch: The faire director hates everything that the audience likes. Please them both, which is nigh impossible, and you’ll win the game!

Huzzah! was one of James Ernest’s earliest game designs, based on his real life juggling at renaissance fairs. The game was in development years before the start of Cheapass Games.

The board is a simple track with several stages, and players move from place to place starting shows on empty stages. You play cards to gather crowds and earn their applause, but the director (Richard) is always moving around the path. If he stops in your audience, you might wish you had played his favorite cards instead.
